Stark-Chessa had an excellent sophomore season on the trails, finishing third at the Class C state meet and sixth at the New England Championship. Soren succeeded during the outdoor track season, winning the 800m (2:19.72) and finishing third in Class C 1600m and 3200m races. After a strong summer of training expect Stark-Chessa to one of the top runners in the state this fall.

How has your summer training gone? Approximately how many miles have you logged?

Very good, especially considering my work schedule, 225 Approx.

What are you looking forward to during the 2024 XC season?

Getting to race again, Running with my team, Seeing my running buddies from other teams.

What are your goals for the season?

Bonding with my team, Maintaining motivation, Having fun.

Biggest takeaway from the 2023 XC Season?

The community was so wonderful and welcoming, which helped to reignite my love for high school sports

What's the best piece of advice you've gained from your coaches?

Stay focused, believe in yourself.
