2024 Outlook
The Windjammers return five of the top seven from the Class A state runner-up squad in 2023. Faye Hildreth, Maguerite Worner, and Isabella Anderson all finished in the top 20 finishers last fall, and the expectation would be for them to improve this fall. With all the pieces in place expect Camden Hills who has one of the top programs in the state to contend for conference, regional and state titles this fall.
Coach Helen Bonzi Comments:
At this point, I can't set expectations for the team since I haven't seen them in so long. I would like to say that both the boys and the girls will be challenging for state titles this year, but I have no idea what shape everyone is in since I haven't seen most of them since last spring. I know both teams want to do really well this season. They've learned what they are capable of and that they could pull off state championship titles, but it's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication.
