How has your summer training gone? Approximately how many miles have you logged?

My summer training has gone really well! I've logged about 400 miles in total this summer, building from 25 miles a week to 45/50.

What are you looking forward to during the 2024 XC season?

I'm looking forward to the Fleet Feet race! Last year we didn't have it because of the weather so fingers crossed for this season!

What are your goals for the season?

My goals are to break 19 and run in the mid to low 18, get top 3 at Regionals and States, qualify for New Englands, and set a PR at my last time racing FOC!

Biggest takeaway from the 2023 XC Season?

I am a runner who benefits from doing a lot of distance and not overdoing speed over the summer. I've also learned that I need to have a goal for every race and not let myself back down from that goal.

What's the best piece of advice you've gained from your coaches?

Keeping calm and being confident in my abilities before races is more beneficial than any training I do. Also racing is all mental and I am my biggest competitor because I overthink so much!

Favorite XC Course?

Belfast with the Fleet Feet course in a close second.

Starbucks, Aroma Joe's or Dunkin?

What spikes do you race in?

Nike XC Dragonflies! I love them!
