2024 Outlook:

The Cougars return their top four finishers from a ninth-place team a year ago. Mt. Blue is led by senior Henri McCourt who ran 16:28.94 a year ago. They also get back the services of Luke Doscinski who had the third-fastest 5k on the team last fall but didn't compete in the state meet due to an injury. With a solid returning group and a big influx of freshmen, the Cougars look to be on the rise in 2024.

Coach Kelly Cullenberg Comments:

Summer training has gone very well. Numbers are up on the boy's side and our summer practices were well attended. Over 60% of our current boy's roster is made up of either sophomores or freshmen. Combine that with the return of six seasoned vets and we are looking forward to a great season. This is exciting for the future of Mt. Blue XC!

As usual, our goals are to stay healthy, continue to challenge ourselves mentally and physically and improve upon last year's individual performances as well as collective team performances. Newcomers to the team are Junior Tyler Rackliff and Freshmen Jonny Bell, Joe Brown, Luka Burns, Cridder Hensley, Oak Medina, Wyatt Oliver, Teddy Renaud, Rory Whitmore
