White had an excellent sophomore season that saw her finish fourth in the Class C state meet. Clara helped the Orono Red Riots to another team title and ran a personal best of 19:19.82 for 5k a year ago. With her sister Rith graduated look for Clara to step into the top spot for Orono and vie for a top three finish in 2024. On the track, this spring she placed 7th in both the 1600m and 3200m at Class C states, throughout the season she ran 5:32.09 and 12:08.09. Expect White to continue to improve this fall and once again be one of the top harriers in the state.
