XC Countdown 2024: Teanne Ewings (Houlton/GHCA)

#1 Teanne Ewings Houlton/GHCA

Class of 2025

2023 Results

  1. Class C State meet Runner-up (17:22.95)
  2. Class C Northern Regional Runner-up (17:21.86)
  3. Festival of Champions Runner-up (17:15.47)
  4. New England Championship Runner-up (17:39)

Ewings had one of the best XC seasons in Maine of all time a year ago which saw her finish as the Class C and New England runner-up. Teanne was amazingly consistent in 2023 as she ran under 18 minutes in five different meets, including a 17:15.47 at the Maine Festival of Champions. On the track she won the NE two-mile title indoors while adding a runner-up finish in the 3200m outdoors. She set a new Maine record in the two-mile with her 10:28.43. While she won't have Ruth White to chase this fall expect Ewings to continue to chase excellence as she looks to win her first XC title this fall.
