Ring had a breakout 2023 XC season that saw him finish third in the Class B state meet, helping his squad to the runner-up plaque. Aidan saved his best race of the season for the New England Championship as he ran a lifetime best of 16:22.73 crossing the line in 45th place. Ring placed 4th in the Class B 2 mile indoors, but he was unable to compete in the outdoor track postseason due to injury. Look for the senior to continue his success on the trails this fall, and be in contention for the individual title in Class B.


How has your summer training gone? Approximately how many miles have you logged?

300 miles, I've trained better then I ever had before and had a lot of fun adventures along the way.

What are you looking forward to during the 2024 XC season?

Leading the team and making good memories.

What are your goals for the season?

I hope to be a competitor for the state title and work harder than any season before.

Biggest takeaway from the 2023 XC Season?

Don't get bogged down in how to win a race just run your hardest and encourage all of your teammates.

What's the best piece of advice you've gained from your coaches?

Respect matters alot.

Male gymnast that won a medal for the US in his event right after a power nap.
