2024 Outlook

The Windjammers return four of the top five from a third-place team in 2023. Camden Hills was led by freshman Will Meyer a year ago so expect big things out of him again this fall. Expect Camden to be one of the top teams again this fall as they have built one of the strongest programs in the state. They will need to develop some talent at the back half of scoring five but they have shown to do that year after year. Expect the Winjammers to contend for KVAV, Northern, and State titles this fall.

Coach Helen Bonzi Comments:

At this point, I can't set expectations for the team since I haven't seen them in so long. I would like to say that both the boys and the girls will be challenging for state titles this year, but I have no idea what shape everyone is in since I haven't seen most of them since last spring. I know both teams want to do really well this season. They've learned what they are capable of and that they could pull off state championship titles, but it's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication.
