2012-13 Indoor Track Event Previews: 800m
Class A
Only 2 scorers from last year are back. Senior Brady Foshay of Cheverus is the top returner from 2012, a year ago Foshay finished 3rd indoors. Outdoors he ran a 1:57.76 to finish as the state runner-up, so he'll be looking to stand a top the podium this winter. Mt Ararat's Will Hrinak finished 4th last year, he ran a personbal best of 2:01.64. Keep an eye on Jonathan Stanhope of Bangor who has the 3rd fastest returning time, along with Brunswick's Jamie Ross who ran 2:00 last spring.

Class B
Just 2 scorers from 2012 are back led by Greely senior Liam Campbell who will try to become the 2nd Greely Ranger in a row to win the 800m title. Campbell was 3rd a season ago. The other returner scorer is Falmouth's Azad Jalai who finished 6th a year ago, if he remains healthy he is a title contender. There are several others who have pdoium potential including Tucker Corbett of York who as a freshman competed in the 400m indoors, outdoors he switched to the 800m finishing 6th in the state. Falmouth's Spencer Brown was 7th outdoors last spring, he had some injury issue at the end of indoors last year.
