Laliberte Invitational 2011

Messalonskee's Harlow Ladd dominated the rest of the boys's field at the Scott Laliberte Invitational on Friday cranking the challenging 2.4 mile course in 13:25 to finish 44 seconds in front of runner-up, and last year's Class A runner-up Andy Reifman-Packett of Mt. Ararat (14:09.) In the girls race with 3-time race winner Abby Mace opting not to run the race, a newcomer to XC Ezsberet Nagy of Lawrence showed she'll be one to keep an eye on this fall. Nagy covered the coure in 15:30, good for 26th overall with the boys & girls combined. The unique team format saw the Brunswick Dragons boys & girls take home top honors. To read more....

The 2011 XC Pre-season meets kick off this weekend with the Scott Laliberte Invitational on Friday @ Cony , Jack Wilkinson Invitational @ St Joe's on Friday & the MDI Relays on Saturday.  Check back this weekend for full results from both meets, as well as photos & a recap from Laliberte.
