Scarborough Boys/Cheverus Girls back up #1 rankings| Nick Morris & Abbey Leonardi win titles Oct 31, 2010

 Class A Boys title went to #1 ranked Scarborough Red Storm, as they won for the 4th time in 6 years. Scarborough raced to the title behind 3 in the top 20, and all 5 scoring runners in the top 28, for a score of 71. Mt. Ararat Eagles nabbed the runner-up trophy with 96 points, Massabesic finished 3rd. In the boys individual race Nick Morris (Scarborough) won the title as he kicked away from runner-up Andy Reifman-Packett (Mt. Ararat)in the final 100m. Morris's winning time 16:25.15. On the girls side #1 ranked Cheverus showed they might be the best ever team the State of Maine has ever seen. The Stags repeated as champions, behind a 2-3-4 finish, to score 45 points. Cheverus had all 5 scoring runners in the top 22 race finishers, they averaged 19:15. Mt. Ararat finished as the runner-up with 68 points averaging 19:59. The Eagles were led by a 5th place finish of Emma Wood, place their 5 scoring runners in the top 21 race finishers. Massabesic finished 3rd with 82 points.
