2012 XC Top Returners Statewide #9
Ron Lund (Jr. Caribou) Lund was a big reason Caribou finished just one point off the podium as he ran to a top 10 finish (17:31.40). Ron placed 7th in the Eastern Regional but his performance at the state meet was his best of the season. His time was good for 24th best overall in the state. Lund ran personal best for 3200m (10:37.5) & 1600m (4:50.14). Ron is postioned well to make a run at a top 5 finish this fall in Class B.

Heather Evans (Jr. York) Evans ran to a 6th place finish in the 2011 Class B state meet running 20:21.86 for 5k, her mark was the 13th fastest in the state. Heather showed strong improvement form her 20th place finish as a freshman. On the track outdoors Evans ran to a 4th place finish 5:26.90 in the 1600m & 5th in the 3200m 11:41.64, both marks were personal bests. Heather will be in the mix for a top 3 individual finish this fall.
