2012 XC Top Returners Statewide #5
Cameron Nadeau (Sr. Biddeford) Nadeau finished 5th in the Class A state meet last fall running 17:05.38, he improved from a 20th place finish from 2010. He is the top returner in Class A this fall and will be looking to win his first state xc title this fall. Cameron continued his success during outdoor track as he ran personal bests in the 1600m (4:34.59) & 3200m (10:03.97).

Shannon Conley (Jr. Cheverus) Conley finished in the top 5 for the 2nd year as she crossed the line in 5th last fall. She has been key part of the last 2 winning Class A team titles at Cheverus. Shannon broke 20 minutes at the state meet despte the tough conditions, as well as some medical issues that prevented her from competing in the New England Championship last fall. As a sophomore she finished 19th to earn All-NE honors. On the track Conley was strong again, indoors she placed 6th in the Class A meet in the 2 mile running a personal best 11:46.47, outdoors Shannon was even better as she placed 3rd in the 800m (2:19.88) & 6th on the 3200m (11:40.08). This fall she'll be one of the leaders of the Cheverus team who will be looking for their 3rd state Class A title in a row
