The Greely HS girls cross-country team has another strong team returning this fall, they are coming off a Western Maine Regional title & 5th place in the Class B state meet last fall. Another Western Maine title looks to be well within reach for Greely in 2012. The Rangers return 6 of their top 7, plus add in standout Kirstin Sandreuter who missed the state meet last fall. Coach Dowling had a young group last fall, he's hoping to improve and close the gap on MDI & Camden Hills.With another year under their legs the Rangers should continue to improve. Greely will have one of the best 1-2 runners in the state with Sandreuter & sophomore Eva Bates. Look for sophomore Emma Mason to be much improved, she ran a 5:48 1600m outdoor and low 13's in the 3200m.

MDI and Camden Hills return as the top ranked girls' teams in class B, but we hope to close the gap with the increased experience of our girls entering their second year of competition.
