Each week MaineTrackXC will post several top performances for each gender, and let the fans decide who is worthy of the Maine Running Company Performance of the Week by casting their vote. Each week on Monday the top performances will be posted undet the "Discussion board" link on the homepage, their will be a topic link called ie. "Boys Performance of the Week January 9th-15th" , click on it to see your choices and then cast your vote. In order to vote you must be logged into the site with a user, if you don't have one already sign up for one so you can support the great athletic accomplishments of those in the running.</p>

Brewer's Teal Jackson is considered one the premier sprinters in the state of Maine. Jackson a senior from Brewer broke the Maine alll-time best for 400m last weekend at the University of Maine oval, as she clocked 57.85. The old record was 57.88 run by Brunswick's Claire Franco. Teal now holds EMITL records in the 200m (25.87 set in 2012) & 400m. This winter she has she has Class A leading times in 55m(7.58), 200m (26.03), & 400m (57.85)The 400m mark currently has Jackson ranked 19th in the country.
James Campbell of Cheverus was selected on the boys side after receiving a record 31 votes this week. Campbell was selected for his state #2 51.70 in the 400m. James time broke the SMAA Sr. division record of 51.73 (Jeremy Collins). This winter Campbell has state qualifying marks in the 55m, 200m, & 400m. He currently ranks 2nd in the 400m & 11th in the 200m (24.03). He is also a member of the #2 ranked 4x200m (1:35.13) team in the state.
