Last fall, Orono senior Ruth White set the course record at the Maine XC Festival of Champions with her 16:56.92 winning effort, breaking her own record of 2023. Houlton/GHCA senior Teanne Ewings was the runner-up last fall for the second-fastest time in meet history 17:15.47, she'll be the favorite to win the race this time around In the twenty-third year of the meet Maine athletes have cracked the 18-minute barrier six times in meet history while a total of forty-one have run under 19 minutes.
